摘要: Braid plains are important sediment stores in high mountains, particularly the glacier forefields of Alpine glaciers. Proglacial braid receive input from glacial meltwater and proglacial sources like moraines glacio-fluvial deposits. The channel morphodynamics on strongly related to transport flow regime river. This study deals with a small plain European Alps. It focuses two different time scales. Decadal planform changes were assessed by remote sensing approaches. recent bed investigated cross-sectional surveys particle counts 2013. is part DFG/FWF funded interdisciplinary research project PROSA (High-resolution measurements rapidly changing PROglacial Systems Alps).
