Serratia Marcescens corneal ulcer as a complication of orthokeratology.

摘要: Abstract PURPOSE: To report a case of Serratia Marcescens corneal ulcer as complication orthokeratology treatment. METHODS: Case report. RESULTS: A 9-year-old male who underwent treatment for 6 months suffered from ulcer. The refractive state lesion eye was −5.5D/−1.25D × 180°, and visual acuity hand motion at 30 cm. He wore retainer lens, rigid gas permeable overnight 2 before the occurred. Ulcer became worse after tobramycin gentamycin days. After ciprofloxacin treatment, healed recovered to 20/20 with spectacle correction. Cultures cornea tissue contact lens storage solution both grew Marcescens, which sensitive ciprofloxacin. CONCLUSION: Overnight wearing is risk factor
