摘要: A wireless sensor network having mobile sensors ( 64, 65 ) is provided with a sink 70 ). To re-position the sink, candidate positions are found using information from sensors. The locations then assessed to give measure of their suitability act as new permanent position. do this, moves each in turn and obtains data and/or signals within range estimate total throughput expected if located at that transfers most suitable position permanently, until dynamic repositioning process triggered again. In this way it possible achieve better performance than only centre gravity taken into account sink. second embodiment, allowed have say future positioning sink; involves providing capability for makes consider both distance remaining battery power come up best desired maximum rate. effect, make collective decision on location
