摘要: Stem-cell factor (SCF) is a noncovalent homodimeric cytokine that exhibits profound biological function in the early stages of hematopoiesis by binding to cell surface tyrosine kinase receptor encoded c-Kit proto-oncogene. The results obtained from combined implementation homology-based molecular modeling and computational simulations study species-specific SCF/ interactions are reported. structural models human rat SCF ligands based on close similarity M-CSF, whose C alpha structure has recently become available. constant domains Fc fragment used as template for ligand receptor. factors responsible stabilization quaternary determinants recognition specificity have been identified assessing conformational, topographical, dynamic features isolated ligand-receptor complexes.
