摘要: From 1980 to 1984, 48 patients were subjected liver resection for hepatic metastases from colorectal cancer. The disease was staged according the original staging system proposed by authors: stage I, single metastasis involving less than 25% of parenchyma (21 patients); II, multiple or between 25-50% (9 and III, more 50% parenchyma, irrespective number (18 patients). extent generally related that disease; a typical lobectomy performed in 28 segmentectomies 20. One patient died after operation (mortality, 2.1%), major complications occurred seven (morbidity, 14.9%). Morbidity operatory blood loss: 45% with replacement 2000 cc developed versus 5.4% (p 0.05). actuarial 3-year survival stages III 73%, 60%, 29%, respectively Twenty-two (45%) have had recurrences, all within 2 years 28% I (30 months disease-free survival, 49%). only site recurrence 10 patients, distant sites seven, both five. Analysis different features primary tumor, interval bowel detection metastases, secondaries demonstrated prognosis surgery mainly latter; they are considered adopted this study. It is simple shows good prognostic correlation. results reported here agreement those literature; low mortality morbidity benefit support growing acceptance treatment cancer, particular patients. For other stages, should represent, when applicable, first step multimodality treatment.
