摘要: This study was designed to investigate whether children's goals in peer conflict situations are related the strategies they propose for resolving conflicts and learn how relate their acceptance by group. Fourth through sixth-grade children (80 boys, 62 girls) were asked about response 12 hypothetical situations. Results indicated that responding differed according goal orientation. Furthermore, selection of correlated with acceptance, although linkages different boys girls. Peer negatively hostile/coercive girls, adult seeking boys. Implications present findings social skills intervention discussed.
