摘要: Few male rats prenatally exposed to a combination of alcohol and stress copulate spontaneously. This study determined adult sensitivity testosterone (T) in males alcohol, stress, or both factors. Sexually naive were tested with receptive females following castration implantation 20-, 30-, 45-mm Silastic T-filled capsules. Serum T levels provided by these implants measured. The behavior shown only prenatal did not differ from untreated control animals at any dosage. Prenatal alone diminished the copulatory potential below when intermediate dosage was provided. copulated under lowest dose replacement, but most ejaculated normally largest capsule implanted. threshold sexual behavior-activating-properties exposure moderately raised severely affected combined alcohol. We conclude that androgen adulthood underlies some deficits resulting treatments alter fetal levels. Such may be concealed is evaluated gonadally intact animals.
