摘要: Abstract The Arthus reaction has many of the cardinal features immune complex disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, i.e. formation, complemet fixation and neutrophil mediation. In an attempt to determine usefulness this experimental model in search for new anti-arthritic drugs, effects drugs currently used treatment rheumatologic diseases well various classes pharmacologic agents on RPA rat were determined compared with their carrageenan-induced edema passive anaphylaxis (PCA). Non-steriod anti-inflammatory i.e., indomethacin, phenylbutazone, sodium salicylate, sudoxicam; steriod, e .g. dexamethasone; slow-acting antiarthritic agents, chloroquine, cyclophosphamine, myochrysine D-penicillamine are either inactive or moderately active at extremely high doses. Antihistamine antioseroyonin mepyramine, methysergide cyproheptadine that suppress PCA block release mediators, disodium cromoglycate diethylcarbamazine failed influence reaction. Other includings MAO inhibitors, sedatives anticholinergics, fibrinolytic trypsin also showed no effect ont he Of all compounds tested, colchicine is most potent suppressing It concluded appears be a useful uncovering act modulating functions polymorphonuclear leukocytes.
