摘要: • Bacterial infection often occurs after trauma and hemorrhage is believed to be a reflection of compromised host defense system. In the present study, we investigated effect temporary loss blood on integrity inflammatory response. Hemorrhage was induced in rats that had long-term carotid artery catheterizations autologous returned animals two hours later. The development carrageenan-induced inflammation suppressed volume-dependent manner. After withdrawal 30% total volume response decreased 82%, remained for at least 24 hours. degree depression also found dependent time elapsed before retransfusion. Vasoconstriction by hypovolemic stress does not appear cause posthemorrhage suppression (Arch Surg1984;119:1154-1157)
