摘要: Abstract The Altai-Sayan Fold Belt epitomises how Phanerozoic island-arc continental crust contributed to the growth of Palaeo-Eurasian continent. Its formation is dominated by closure Palaeo-Asian Ocean (PAO) when systems and Gondwana-derived terranes accreted Siberian margin. Relics PAO related tectonic units associated granitoids occur along ophiolitic Charysh–Terekta–Ulagan–Sayan suture (CTUSs) between Gorny-Altai Altai-Mongolia. Zircon LA-ICP-MS U/Pb dating this igneous record constrains multi-stage geodynamic evolution. Primitive Kuznetsk-Altai formed at margin during Ediacaran–Early Cambrian (525–555 Ma). This matured Middle–Late (~ 510 Ma) was consumed subduction in Late Cambrian–Early Ordovician (480–490 Ma) forming Early Caledonian accretion–collision belt. South CTUSs, granitic magmatism occurred within Altai-Mongolia (450–470 Ma) Palaeo-Kazakhstan assembly a Silurian–Early Devonian (400–425 Ma) Andean-type collision. (360–395 Ma) were emplaced as result collision with Siberia. During final Pangaea amalgamation, strike-slip reactivated (associated ~ 295 Ma). youngest (220–255 Ma) sampled originated an intra-plate setting.
