摘要: The patterns of oncovirus protein biosynthesis are essentially similar for avian and mammalian viruses. In each case the four major internal structural proteins synthesized as a precursor polypeptide about 75 000 daltons, product gag gene. Translation occurs on genome-sized mRNA. This polyprotein is cleaved in series steps to give mature proteins. mechanism localization cleavage have not yet been clarified. Viral reverse transcriptase, pol gene, also translated mRNA precursor, which "read-through" neighbouring two envelope glycosylated apparent molecular weight 90 from env gene located sub-genomic RNA species. transported plasma membrane where it may mark site virus budding. It transport or membrane, but resulting remain tied by disulfide bonds. Sarc, src that responsible transformation, different viral than Sarc has definitively characterized any system.
