摘要: Abstract This paper describes a technological evaluation of novel biocide-free metalworking fluid (MWF) on the basis glycerol/water in comparison to conventional mineral oil based MWFs. For machining experiments grinding machine were performed. A cubic boron nitride (CBN) and an aluminium oxide (Al2O3) wheel tested inner cylindrical process. The tests performed under employment glycerol fluid, emulsion oil. indicated comparable partially better results fluids with regard measured forces, tool wear work piece surface roughness. From chemical point view it was ensured by extensive testing that no adverse reaction- or decomposition products are released from glycerol-based MWF during practical operation. Furthermore, corrosion done. additive enhanced order guarantee full protection for pieces machine.
