摘要: We present a case of an adolescent male with relapsed Hodgkin lymphoma involving the mediastinum two years following chemotherapy without radiotherapy. The patient was treated second-line followed by high-dose and autologous stem cell transplant then presented for evaluation consolidative involved-field proton therapy (PT). Comparative treatment plans were developed three-dimensional X-ray radiotherapy (3DXRT) PT. PT substantially reduced dose to lungs, heart, esophagus, total body compared 3DXRT, resulting in should reduce risk late side effects including secondary malignancies cardiovascular disease.
