摘要: Abstract The influence of bismuth ions on kinetics lead dioxide electrodeposition from methanesulfonate electrolytes and physico-chemical properties obtained coatings were studied. Experimental results are consistent with a mechanism previously proposed in the literature for electrodeposition. presence solution causes decrease rate constants formation due to co-adsorption phenomena. Deposits solutions containing appear shiny dark grey, show good adhesion metal support. SEM images reveal compact structure spindle-shaped submicron nanosized crystals X-ray diffractograms demonstrated that incorporation diminishes size crystal particles. Oxygen evolution was investigated test electrocatalytic activity. It is shown, oxygen overpotential modified electrodes significantly higher than non-modified PbO2-electrode, which depends content deposit segregation induces surface heterogeneity sites different electroactivity water oxidation.
