A histopathologic, histobacteriologic, and radiographic study of periapical endodontic surgical specimens

摘要: Abstract Data available on 230 periapical endodontic surgical specimens were studied. It was found that bacteria occurred in the tissue very infrequently. In addition, there no correlation between presence of acute inflammatory cells and or absence pain. Granulomas with epithelium 61 out cases, while 14 these cysts. Of 110 cases radiographic follow-up data, 67 classified as successful, 40 uncertain, 3 unsuccessful according to a modification Strindberg's51 criteria, whereas 107 would have been successes criteria Bender Seltzer their associates.78, 79 No valid biologic clinical basis for therapy suggested by Bhaskar68, 75 this material.
