摘要: In a 20-month study, phytoplankton and periphyton chl a, dry mass of macroscopic algal aggregates in four marshes lake within the Okefenokee Swamp (Georgia, USA) were comparable to other wetlands littoral areas. Chlorophyll levels two inversely related water level at three developed unimodal maxima following macrophyte dieback. Standing stocks vernally inundated marsh greater than nearby which was permanently inundated; chlorophyll displayed longer blooms during periods low rainfall or after drought. Field dynamics, sediment sorption characteristics bioassays suggest that evaporative drawdown stimulates algae by release nutrients from exposed peat, while high reduce nutrient sediments disperse through flushing. Equilibrium phosphate concentrations higher an abandoned rookery non-rookery area, indicating enrichment residual guano deposits.
