摘要: In Aspergillus niger , the expression of genes encoding enzymes involved in degradation xylan and cellulose is controlled by transcriptional regulator XlnR. Besides controlling extracellular enzymes, XlnR was shown to regulate transcription intracellular as D-xylose reductase. Also a new endoglucanase that shows major activity towards xyloglucan It appears plays an extensive role synergistic plant cell wall polysaccharides. Transcriptional regulators are wide spread nature; recently orthologues have been isolated from other fungi like oryzae Neurospora crassa and  Trichoderma reesei . Alignment these XlnR-like showed several regions protein highly conserved, among which C-terminus. A. this region fulfil regulatory activation or inactivation
