摘要: Article history Ocimum sanctum (Tulsi in Hindi) is a speculate ayurvedic herb, which has well known therapeutic properties. The different parts of the plants are expansively used curing various disorders. Various researches shows possesses antidiabetic, cardioprotective, anti-cancer, neuro-protectant, immunomodulatory, anti-malarial, anti ulcer, anti- inflammatory, analgesic and anti-oxidant activity. In this review, we have critically discussed recently identified pleiotropic actions sanctum. Moreover, possible mechanisms involved modulation pathological conditions been delineated.
