摘要: Fluoride is toxic to neuronal development and its excessive intake during pregnancy cause adverse effects on neonatal development. The present study examined the presence of oxidative stress maternal exposure fluoride therapeutic strategy Aloe vera, Curcuma longa Ocimum sanctum extracts in functional prevention led stress. pregnant Wistar rats were exposed 100 ppm drinking water pups born them supplemented with phytoextracts daily. On 21st postpartum day, sacrificed analyse markers. significantly increased accumulation, lipid peroxidation decreased activities catalase, superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase, glutathione-S-transferase levels discrete regions central nervous system (CNS) indicating inhibited antioxidant defense. results implied vulnerability developing CNS toxicity. phytoextract supplementation, oxidant devastation was suppressed by regaining homeostasis near normal level proving efficacy strategy. Among found be more effective.
