摘要: Abstract The Dynamic Energy Budget (DEB) theory provides a logic and consistent framework to evaluate ecotoxicological test results. Currently this is not regularly applied in ecotoxicology given perceived complexity data needs. However, even the case of low availability DEB already useful. In paper we apply results three previously published papers on effects PAHs Arctic copepods. Since these do allow for quantitative application used qualitatively. were thereby set wider ecological context found logical explanation an unexpected decline hatching success described one papers. Moreover, evaluation helped derive relevant questions that can guide future experimental work subject.
