摘要: Growth and fatness traits are complex economically important in the pig industry. The molecular basis underlying porcine growth remains largely unknown. To uncover genetic loci candidate genes for these traits, we explored GeneSeek GGP Porcine 80K SNP chip to perform a GWAS seven 365 individuals from Sujiang pig, recently developed breed China. We identified two, 17, one 11 SNPs surpassing suggestively significant threshold (P < 1.86 × 10-5 ) body weight, chest circumference, width backfat thickness respectively. Of SNPs, 20 represent novel loci, five four were respectively associated with circumference at genome-wide 9.31 10-7 ). Eight had pleiotropic effect on both thickness. most remarkable locus resided region between 72.95 76.27 Mb chromosome 4, harboring number of previously reported quantitative trait related deposition. In addition two (PLAG1 TAS2R38), including GABRB3, ZNF106, XKR4 MGAM as candidates weight mapped loci. Our findings provide insights into architecture potential markers selective breeding Chinese pigs.
