摘要: The results, complications, and technical aspects of occipital to posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) bypass surgery are reviewed. Patients were divided into two groups: those considered be a high risk for circulation infarct but not disabled by the symptoms or deficits (eight patients), moderately severely at time admission patients). Postoperative angiography revealed that 15 16 grafts patent. In 10 patent grafts, graft served as sole major blood supply vertebral basilar system; in five patients, flow was limited distribution PICA. Eight patients achieved full employment normal activity, six improved did return employment, unchanged. Ataxia residual deficit these patients.
