摘要: Purpose To evaluate the macular and subfoveal choroidal thickness of eyes with inferior oblique muscle overaction (IOOA) using enhanced depth imaging spectral domain optical coherence tomography (EDI SD-OCT). Methods The measurements obtained by EDI SD-OCT patients IOOA (24 patients) were compared those age- sex-matched controls (25 subjects). Results There no morphological abnormalities macula in or control subjects. statistically significant differences between subjects ( P > 0.05). When assigned to two distinct groups according degree IOOA, did not differ = 0.66), whereas measures significantly lower severe 0.01). Conclusions has effect on morphology macula. Severe seems be related thinning choroid due possible external mechanical effect.
