Resonant excitation analysis of sub-wavelength dielectric grating

摘要: A weakly modulated dielectric grating is equivalent to a planar waveguide. As the high-order spatial sub-waves couple with leaky mode of grating, guided-mode resonance (GMR) occurs. In this paper, positions are studied based on eigenvalue equation waveguide, and results agree rigorous coupled-wave analysis (RCWA) very well. This shows that double reflection peaks at normal incidence can be realized reasons given in detail. The reason GMR sensitive incident angle period also discussed. filters good filtering features by using thin film effect.
