摘要: • Experimental neuropsychologic tests were administered to acute patients with schizophrenia and affective psychosis normal controls. Patients had remitting illnesses. Tests included memory for recurring digit block spans (left right temporohippocampal), (lateralized parietal/frontal), spatial nonspatial conditional associate learning (frontohippocampal), oral word fluency letter-designated categories (frontal) semantic-designated (left-sided). In 81% of schizophrenic patterned deficits incompatible generalized losses function disclosed. Patterns heterogeneous characterized by (1) the frequency severity left temporohippocampal impairment; (2) asymmetric frontohippocampal such that bilateral impairment was associated poorer superior performance better learning; (3) syndrome relationships predicted hemisphere imbalance model pertaining positive negative symptoms catatonic syndrome; (4) a deficit independent functions; (5) no relationship between computed tomographic signs or medication. disorders impairments disclosed preponderance in memory; depressives demonstrated span.
