摘要: Abstract There is a need to create sustainable urban development and quality living environments for the growing populations of high-density cities. Sustainable planning cities from climatic point view topical issue city planners policy makers. However, application knowledge has only led low-impact decision-making. This especially true in developing countries. Thus, there an urgent seek ways quickly collate information format that user-friendly planners. study identified promote use planning. By utilizing readily-available data, paper introduces method focuses on using map (UCMap). A UCMap provides visual spatial platform planner-friendly Geographical Information System (GIS). focusing Kaohsiung, Taiwan, first defines issues area. It then key methodology mapping elaborates general urban-climatic-based advice UCMap. Lastly, it identifies sensitive areas recommendations can be easily tested applied by The critical importance greenery coverage, air paths open spaces, water bodies rivers, building morphology layout have been highlighted visually spatially
