A note on measurement of contingency between two binary variables in judgment tasks

摘要: Varied measures of contingency have appeared in the psychological judgment literature concerned with binary variables. These are examined, and inappropriateness some noted. As well, it is argued that accurate judgments about related variables should not be used to infer based on appropriate information.
