摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter provides an overview of the kinins and pain. Pain signals are generated in fine afferent C- Aδ nerve fibers, which respond to a range intense physiological stimuli including heat, cold, potentially noxious chemicals. Indeed all tissues, with exception neuropil central nervous system (CNS), innervated by such although their properties differ markedly depending on whether they somatic afferents. In viscera, there is less evidence for afferents that serve specific nociceptive functions under normal conditions. However, when significant tissue damage occurs, pain often more persistent associated inflammation hyperalgesia around inflamed region. Kinins likely be among first agents produced at sites injury or critical roles signaling distress as well organizing responses subsequent repair. Important this orchestrated series events activation signal immediate followed prolonged sensitization exogenous minimize further disturbance. interact specifically B2 receptors expressed sensory neurons transduce alter membrane excitability cellular chemistry.
