摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate the transition wear behavior for pure aluminum and extruded alloy 2024-T4 (AA2024-T4). test carried using a ball-on-disc testing machine at various vertical loads linear speeds. behaviors analyzed based on microstructure, tracks, cross-section, debris. critical rates each material are occurred lower speed load. observed in which abrasion wears with generation an oxide layer, fracture adhesion wear, severe seizure sequence. In case aluminum, change debris order blocky, flake, needle-like Cutting chip, flake-like, coarse flake-like sequence AA2024-T4. AA2024-T4 slower than aluminum.
