摘要: Abstract Objective To evaluate, through study- and individual-level analyses of data from 7 studies, the effectiveness school-based nutrition interventions on child fruit vegetable (FV) consumption. Design find original studies interventions, authors searched electronic databases 1990 to 2002. First 13 eligible were contacted request their data. Data received for inclusion in this pooled analysis. Setting Schools. Participants 8156 children matched pretest posttest. primarily elementary school-aged (75.5%) white (66%), 50.4% males. Main Outcome Measures Net FV difference net relative change (%). Analysis analyzed at both study individual levels. A fitted multivariable fixed-effects model was used analyze role potential covariates intake. Statistical significance set α = .05. Results At level, consumption 0.45 (95% CI 0.33-0.59) servings; 19% 0.15-0.23) servings. Conclusions Implications School-based produced a moderate increase intake among children. These results may have implications chronic disease prevention efforts, including cardiovascular cancer.
