Client Self-Management: Promoting Self-Help for Parents of Children in Foster-Care

摘要: Drawing upon Foucault's concepts of power, this article shows how a course given to parents whose children are in foster-care encourages particular form self-management—most notably, that their internal dialogues must be altered so the can view themselves as people control behaviour who position choose new behaviour.
