摘要: Objectives: To compare the prevalence, severity, and type of gait balance disorders in Alzheimer's disease (AD), vascular dementia (VaD), Parkinson's with (PDD), Lewy bodies (DLB), without (PD), age-matched controls. Design: Cross-sectional. Setting: Secondary care clinics geriatric psychiatry, neurology, geriatrics. Participants: Two hundred forty-five participants aged 65 older (AD, n=40; VaD, n=39; PDD, n=46; DLB, n=32; PD, controls, n=42). Measurements: Prevalence severity were assessed using Tinetti scale. The types each diagnostic group classified Nutt et al. classification. Results: Gait more common PDD (93%), VaD (79%), DLB (75%) than PD (43%) AD (25%) controls (7%). risk disorder was higher non-Alzheimer's groups (VaD, DLB) (odds ratio=15 (95% confidence interval=6–37). If a present mild (Cambridge Examination for Mental Disorders Elderly cognitive subsection score >65), this dementia, sensitivity 78% specificity 100%. Non-Alzheimer's had worse scores (all P<.001). discriminated between dementias. Conclusion: findings support idea that assessment may augment evaluation dementia.
