摘要: In this paper, we mathematically compared two models of mammalian striated muscle activation dynamics proposed by Hatze and Zajac. Both are representative a broad variety biomechanical formulated as ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The incorporate some parameters that directly represent known physiological properties. Other have been introduced to reproduce empirical observations. We used sensitivity analysis mathematical tool for investigating the influence model on solution ODEs. That is, adopted former approach calculating such (first order) sensitivities. Additionally, expanded it treating initial conditions second order latter quantify non-linearly coupled effect any combination parameters. As completion global take variability into account. method suggest has numerous uses. A theoretician striving reduction may use identifying particularly low sensitivities detect superfluous An experimenter high facilitate determining parameter value with maximised precision.
