摘要: Tbe employment interview has had an interesting history of being both widely condemned by researchers and used practitioners. Little attention in past research been directed at attempts to explain this apparent incongruity. It is proposed paper that part the explanation may lie way have defined criterion when studying validity interview. Namely, construct fit lead a reconsideration usefulness personnel selection decisions. In support argument, conceptual model process which incorporates as central proposed. Furthermore, conceptualized not simply passive process, but rather outcome active influence candidates manage impressions meanings. Finally, implications for practice on are discussed.
