摘要: Abstract Flare gas recovery (FGR) is known as an option to reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) from oil and refineries. The major concerns about environmental impacts of GHG emission lead refineries deploy different FGR methods, most which requiring new equipment high cost design construction. In this paper, feasibility three methods for evaluated in a giant refinery Iran. first two considered liquefaction LPG production by implementing flare feed existing unit. Different parameters were studied production. third using three-stage compression unit compress the gases. Finally, economic evaluation was performed find profitable method. Based on simulation results, 0.75-barg pressure flash drum leads maximum For FGR, 1-barg recovered CO2-equivalent releasing into atmosphere, more than 205 ton/day. shows that rate return (ROR) are 200% scenarios higher compression.
