Species richness of saproxylic beetles in woodlands is affected by dispersion ability of species, age and stand size

摘要: This study examines the occurrence of saproxylic beetles in woodlands different size and age their potential to leave woodland areas cross open grassland northern Germany. The were recorded by emergence traps flight-intercept-traps. investigated sites dominated beech, oak alder, but other tree species also occurred low abundance. Species richness showed a positive relation stand woods. Both total rarefaction lowest small young woods highest old large decreased asymptotically from inner-wood habitat distance greater than 80 m wood margin. classified into 46 mobile found at 30 margins. most frequently all woods; they contributed less stands did with mobility. contribution least increased stands, effect being greater.
