摘要: cDNAs encoding the rod region of four different fast myosin heavy chains (MYCHs) in chicken were identified, using anti-MYCH monoclonal antibodies, two expression libraries prepared from 19-day embryonic and adult muscle. These clones used to determine amino acid sequences that encompass epitopes five anti-MYHC antibodies. Additionally, compared each other a full length MYHC. Although there is extensive homology rods, within hinge, central portion light meromyosin fragment, at carboxy terminus exhibit largest number substitutions. We propose divergence these subdomains may contribute isoform-specific properties associated with skeletal rods.
