摘要: We have examined the expression of two embryonic myosin HC mRNAs using cDNA clones (110 and 251) which we previously constructed from RNA isolated 14-day-old chick skeletal muscle. Sequence divergence in 3' nontranslated regions enabled us to analyze differential corresponding S1 nuclease mapping procedure. Clone 251 mRNA is expressed primarily fast muscle, where its transcripts appear be predominant species. This minimally posthatching period, but it not detected adult leg breast Messenger for clone 110 also However, stages development, continues at a low level muscle The these during development strongly indicates that they correspond different genes coding HCs. Other were partially homologous or identified by mapping. Using probes clones, minimum four other developmentally forms detected. Two "neonatal" HCs, while code HCs present respectively. results therefore suggest much greater diversity than reported.
