摘要: Oxidative stress reflects an imbalance between the production of reactive oxygen (ROS) and nitrogen species (RNS) body’s ability to detoxify their toxic effects through antioxidant defense system. Reactive radicals derived from molecular or are generated internally in animal human body systems external sources like environmental pollution, metals, pesticides. ROS RNS attack a variety essential biological molecules, including lipids, cellular proteins, DNA, cause alterations normal cell organ physiology, activate disease processes. Given important role oxidative tissue injury, several antioxidants have been exploited for beneficial effect regulation ROS/RNS neutralization as well preservation equilibrium. This chapter analyzes its biomarkers discusses preventing ameliorating detrimental RNS.
