摘要: Functionalized polymers and methods of functionalizing with reactive species having decontaminating activity, such as polyoxometalates metal oxides. Covalent bonding the to polymer securely immobilizes stabilizes activity species. Specifically, covalent greatly reduces moisture deactivation during prolonged exposure atmospheric moisture. Polyoxometalates are catalytically through oxidative pathways oxides hydrolytic pathways. Both oxygen atoms available for an appropriate bifunctional linking agent.
