摘要: Contaminants, including arsenic, are removed from water and other aqueous feeds preferably by (1) treating the feed with a compound containing rare earth (e.g., cerium in +4 oxidation state, dioxide), to oxidize contaminants +3 state arsenic +5 (2) removing phase, normally contacting treated earth-containing precipitating agent.
