摘要: Severe asthma is considered a heterogeneous disease in which variety of clinical, physiological and inflammatory markers determine severity. Pivotal studies the last 5 years have led to substantial progress many areas, ranging from more accurate definition truly severe, refractory asthma, classification into distinct clinical phenotypes, introduction new therapies. This review focuses on three common phenotypes severe adults (early onset allergic late non-atopic eosinophilic non-eosinophilic with obesity), provides an overview recent developments regarding treatment options that are best suited for each these phenotypes.
