摘要: Abstract The determinants of “basal” activity signaling pathways regulating cellular responses are poorly defined. One possibility is that cells release factors to establish the set-point such pathways. Here we show treatment Madin-Darby canine kidney with nucleotidase apyrase decreases basal arachidonic acid and cAMP production 30–40% inhibitors P2Y receptor action also affect forskolin-stimulated accumulation. Changing medium prominently increases extracellular levels ATP in kidney, COS-7, HEK-293 cells. Mechanical stimulation likely occurs virtually every experimental protocol cultured cells, implicating activation as critical establishing for signal transduction
