摘要: Background: India accounts for 95% of HIV-2 infections in Asia. Molecular epidemiological studies have been performed on partial envelope gene and LTR sequences from isolates India. Although, a single full-length sequence an isolate is available the GenBank, comprehensive molecular analysis large number would be essential understanding genomic heterogeneity prevalent country. Methods: In this study, we determined complete nucleotide deduced amino acid that was obtained by coculture infected cells. An extensive genome with GenBank. Results: The belonged to subtype A. Comparison those 18 GenBank showed genetic distance ranging 7.8% CRIK (subtype A, India) 30% EHO B, Cote d'ivoire). Conclusions: Phylogenetic indicated exhibited close homology CRIK. Analysis presence 2 mutations associated drug resistance nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Mutations protease inhibitors were not observed isolate.
