EFFECTIVENESS OF AN EXERCISE TRAINING PROGRAM ON YOUTH WITH ASPERGER SYNDROME

摘要: Although exercise training programs are effective in improving physical fitness and motor competence typically developing youth, insufficient data of the impact interventions available youth with Asperger syndrome (AS). The purpose this study was to examine efficacy an program as part ongoing vocational for adolescents AS on fitness. Twenty (mean age = 16.8yrs) were enrolled study. A quasi-experimental nonequivalent-control-group design a follow-up measurement over period six months followed. intervention group received 12-week focusing structured activity applied 3 days week 1 hour. Data collection included pre-, post-, evaluations using Movement Assessment Battery Children (M-ABC-II) EUROFIT test together diaries comments from teachers guardians. Two 2X3 repeated measures ANOVAs indicated improved that sustained time. successful implementation similar is therefore recommended.
