摘要: Plant-derived natural products have been and will continue to be valuable sources. Elicitors employed modify cell metabolism in order enhance the productivity of useful metabolites plant cell/tissue cultures. In this study, several elicitors were used improve reduce culture time for archiving high concentration inP. ginseng hairy root The addition chitosan, chitosan oligosaccharide alginate ofP. roots caused growth inhibited with increase elicitor concentration. usage andd-glucosamine a slight decrease growth, whereas total saponin accumulated slightly When gel beads added medium at initial period, was enhanced. maximum 1.35 times higher than that control 1% (w/v). Total content decreased due beads. This would result consistent diffusion lower levels calcium ions during period promotes biomass growth.
