摘要: There has been growing attention to the influence of youths' sexual experiences on alcohol use and other health-risk behaviors. Yet, because cross-sectional nature many studies, as well likelihood behaviors co-occur, question whether initiation activity tends precede engagement in behaviors, like binge drinking, remains largely unanswered. Using data from 4726 respondents who participated Waves I through IV National Longitudinal Study Adolescent Adult Health (Add Health), we examined association between age at first intercourse frequent drinking during one's mid-twenties early thirties. We further explored this relationship was mediated or moderated by rate which individuals accumulated sex partners transition adulthood.
