摘要: Resident CD8+ DCs perform several functions, including cross-presenting antigen and rapidly engulfing the Gram-positive intracellular pathogen Listeria monocytogenes. Little is known about how these functions of are modulated. Here, we show that granulocyte-macrophage CSF (GM-CSF), a cytokine exists at low levels steady state but elevated during infection inflammation, enhances cross-presentation rapid uptake L. monocytogenes by resident DCs. This previously unrecognized functional enhancement GM-CSF was independent promoting DC survival in vitro. Enhancement also marked CD103 expression on strongly regulated GM-CSF. Our findings not only identify as key molecule regulating function, factor responsible for heterogeneity least substantially demarcated expression.
