摘要: Despite extraordinary recent advances in the management of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and acquired syndrome, patients infected with HIV are still susceptible to a variety complications that stem either from or side effects antiretroviral regimens. Diagnosis is often challenging, since every organ body can be affected by HIV, kidneys have been increasingly shown involved disease processes. Opportunistic infections including those caused atypical organisms, malignancies such as lymphoma Kaposi sarcoma, processes specific HIV-associated nephropathy all affect kidneys. In this era highly active therapy (HAART), renal arising secondary medication has added list. Furthermore, introduction HAART increased survival HIV-infected patients; consequently, frequency incidental expected rise population. Because mortality morbidity rates early recognition patients, it paramount radiologist familiar imaging features encountered cases.
