摘要: This paper reports on software developed to compute least-squares spectra over a specified interval. approach facilitates the viewing of changing time structure in non-stationary series, smaller than observation span. The programme is illustrated by case solar activity, gauged yearly Wolf numbers, for 1700-1999 span that shows presence very unstable component with period around-100 years and an about-11-year cycle. method, although demostrated here geophysical example, has broad scope applications biology medicine.
